There are already plans for content stretching well into the next year, with much more to come after that. It seems clear that, while Overwatch 2 will mark the biggest evolution of the franchise since the original game launched six years ago, it’s really the foundation for much larger ambitions. There's also a promise of new modes in 2023, along with more than 100 new skins. The devs will also add three or four maps per year.
